when you get a new, big box of toys, how do you open them? are you like chadthony customs and use combat knives & katanas?

I have a boxcutter that I keep on a table by my door so I can open packages when they get delivered. Then I just use the exacto knife that's on my hobby desk to actually open the toys with.

I open the shipping box like normal and then just dig in. Its my rituals of actually opening toys that are weird. Ive got toys ill stare at rhen open, or just stare at for months etc its all based on my mood.

Stole dozens of these and their much cheaper equivalents from amazon over the years I was working there. Used to accidentally walk out of the building with them when I was a scrub, then when they gave me pic related which was "too dangerous" to hand to normal employees when I hit dock lead, I """lost""" like 5 of them and now have a good stock at home.

To you richfags who have dozens of figures coming in on a regular basis, do you still keep their boxes? I only buy like 4 figures max per month, and I already have stacks of boxes.

Anything domestic or cheap goes into a big plastic bin for storage. Anything import or really over $100 or so goes back into its box. Plamo gets disassembled partially and wrapped in paper towel and then put into a larger MG box or something.

I only keep Seihou boxes and Super7 boxes because I like how both look, I sell everything else. I don’t sell things often enough to make keeping a fuckload of boxes worth it
