The first i heard that people actually liked it was on /toy/ like ten years ago and even then, it wasn't really discussed much. There were like 2 or 3 people who really talked about it and bought it here.
Outside in the real world, i saw it being sold for less than $20 at conventions and ebay.
I bought other toys based on /toy/'s recommendations, like this badass, and he was like $50 on eBay for years. Had to haggle him down to $30 at a convention.
ANYWAY, real reason Mandarin Spawn "isn't selling" is because stores probably overordered the shit out of it after McFarlane hyped them up from his Kickstarter sales.
McFarlane loves to market the shit out of his stuff.
