>>9518375To add to the other guy's comment, the thinner the piece, the worse of an idea it is to use die-cast. Die-cast is an incredibly cheap shitty metal with a really brittle crystal structure. Remember MakeToys Groove and how the tiny die-cast handlebars were snapping apart en mass to the point they had to pack thicker replacements in with Hotspot, and those also snapped for a lot of people for no reason whatsoever. Now imagine that on important transformation pieces. Die-cast is a meme and it's actually cheaper to produce than plastic but idiots eat it up because they think all metal is inherently strong and they love that "premium weighty feel" so companies load it up and jack up the price to capitalize.
