Wasn't the blue beet a p-bandai exclusive though or maybe the other way around with green and red being exclusive? I feel like they'll never re-release them but if buy them in a heartbeat

They do a TON of rereleases for the JoJo stuff, but actual new figures are scarce, and they didn't move to properly take advantage of the anime by pumping the shit out of the anime colored figures or doing new 2.0s.

Because they have some dumb rule about never reissuing 2nd colorways back then and really stuck by it until some time ago. Medicos is coasting by with its specialization of JJBA figures and colorway system. At this point, they should just do a 2.0 system to fix up scaling and articulation schemes and drop the BIG line if every release takes years. Shit sucks back then when a Kira 2nd and KQ 2nd set you back some money and would get snatched up in minutes at Mandarake.

This thing was one of the first action figure type toys I remember owning. Looking at it now it doesn't look all that bad considering it was what I'm assuming was a cheaper end toy.

It was the most successful out of all the Power Ranger "spin-offs" (BeatleBorgs, VR Troopers, Masked Rider, Mystic Knights, etc.) but it wasn't anywhere near the popularity of MMPR. What a horrendously wrong statement.

Personally Beetle Fighter would've been better off serving as a third season of VR Troopers. I always wondered why they hacked Metalder and Spielban into one show instead of adapting one of the newer Metal Hero shows that already had three protagonists.

I tried rewatching the show not too long ago and couldn't do more than a few episodes. Really cool suits and the action is good, probably should just watch B-Fighter. I have the three Mega Spectra Beetleborgs from Metallix in the boxes. What I really want is the Mega Blue figure from the original series but I think that's lost to time.
