Lot of good shit came out this year.
SHF Cooler, ML What If Zombie Captain America, NECA King Kong (either the 3rd or 4th release since they both have good accessories), Sentinel Berserker Lancelot and Pokémon Select Charizard are probably my top 5 out of the things I got in no particular order.
Battle Convoy from the Diaclone reboot, MOTU Origins Man-E-Faces and NECA Frankenstein could also easily make my list too.
I'd even put Figura Obscura Krampus and Mafex Ben Reilly on my list but I've only just got them a couple days ago so I can't say for sure.

Motaro is the most impressive figure for me easily. I thought Cooler might be close but he wasn't when I got him in hand. Kintaro looks like a good contender but it looks like he's not even releasing this year contrary to Amiami. Motaro not only looks amazing but he moves well and comes with another figure.

Nope. One of the coolest things about his design was that he was this weird lanky monstrosity that sprouted out of a fat little clown. It subverted expectations and gave him a unique silhouette compared to all the other giant muscle bound goons that Spawn fought.

I don’t really care about Spawn anymore and have no interest in the new book. I just find it sad that such a well designed character got a makeover it didn’t need.

Also, that Cyborg figure isn’t that great. It just happens to be the best figure of that particular version. Not a great achievement when the other figures were made by Bandai of America a decade ago.

Dude, DCC was making pathetic figures in the end, especially compared to its glory days. Just because McFarlane can do a better job than a dying with no budget, doesn’t mean he’s making great figures.

Also, Mattel’s Etrigan is better than McFarlane’s and it came out a decade ago. Maybe if McFarlane would’ve made the articulation useable, it could’ve been a great figure. As is, it’s just a decent looking almost-statue with very little painted details.

The size isn't as big of a problem as the neck assembly is.

The bottom of her collar is a forward and backsword hinge with a peg that goes into her neck which has a left and right tilt hinge up into the head. The half halves connecting give her neck swivel which is where you can pop her head off.

There's no way to get any Figma heads onto the body without heavily modifying either the figure or the head. You're better off popping into our general and asking about nude body options.
