Air is one thing i should worry about, but that's almost unavoidable if i want things out on display. Depending on how the plastic is treated (companies like Hasbro use anti-oxidants) the color will shift over the next few decades. It's very gradual and slow, unlike light or heat.
One thing that i avoid using are spotlights or even enclosed areas with lights, because all lighting can produce quite a bit of heat. LEDs are the safest for this, but not if they're in an enclosed area.
