>>9527382 >'m going to need a Hordak This probably won't be an unpopular take, but Hordak is actually worst Hordesman.
He's not necessarily objectively bad, but look at who he's up against...Mosquitor, Mantenna, Modulok, Leech, Grizzlor, Dragstor...he just can't compete. I'd even argue some of the non-vintage Horde are better.

Orko, Sorceress, Roboto and the Battle Armors don't deserve top tier. They're all As or Bs
Mosquitor, Webstor, Buzz Off, Ninjor and Tri-klops are all too low.
And She-ra belongs in d-tier

>>9527359 Having now had Classics, Origins and Masterverse stuff in hand, I honestly think they're more enjoyable and dynamic figures than Classics and don't at all feel redundant alongside Origins. I'm very glad I decided to pick some up.
Full UK retail felt too expensive, but on clearance they're an absolute treat. I'd definitely recommend at least Spikor and MAA. Can't comment on W3 as it hasn't showed up locally, but I'd possibly pay full retail for Stinkor given how much I've enjoyed what I have.

>>9528617 I was initially sad about the missing gear and details from the original but, in hand, he edges it for me having the gear gimmick in the torso and the head, whilst still having head articulation and removable arms, along with the forearm accessories - it just feels like you're getting so much for a non-deluxe. Helps that I'm such a fan of his crystal-clockwork-space-knight aesthetic, too.

I've traded away basic Hordak, v1 Evil Lyn, v1 Stratos, Teela, Battle Armor He-Man, and white Sorceress due to better versions of the character/mold being released.

I used to have to steal my sister's She-Ra to play with and the Origins version just seemed way better to me. The "real" hair was always frizzy and the plastic at least has a baseline of looking half decent. Modern articulation helps a lot.

>>9532834 I totally agree that OC and concept characters are a high priority.
But PoP has a lot of nostalgia as well as Motu. They don't need to go super deep and make mini comic Kowl but a few of the characters I would say are must haves.
>Frosta >Shadow Weaver >Catra >Glimmer >Swift Wind >maybe Bow. He's on the list because he was enough of a main character to be left behind. My deep cut pick would be General Sunder. He was a returning characters with an arc. you could put him witht he Horde or the Rebels.

(Unless I'm underestimating how many SPoP waifufags exist to make Entrapta a big seller, because she's the only other one I can see moving but not from nostalgiafags)

>>9532855 Pig Head has to be the next assortment. Not just because his name was leaked, but he's Sun-Man's enemy. They can't put out SM and not immediately follow up with his villain.
Based on those leaks, I figure next wave will be Pig Head, Trap Jaw (to fill the cheap repaint slot), Whiplash (to finish the monster leg trio waves 7 and 8 startd with Clawful and Buzz Off) and King Randor as the obligatory good guy.
Then wave 10 will be when we get Digitino, 200x Skeletor, Mantenna and some unleaked figure to round out the quartet. Grizzlor would be appropriate, make it a Horde wave

>>9532863 >underestimating Honestly, you might be. I am in my late 30s and when I talk to people a few years younger they remember the She-Ra cartoon more than the proper Motu one.

Moss Man could be wave 10 as that "mystery figure" I mentioned. He's about as likely as Grizzlor. Or maybe the wave after. We probably won't see him until fall or winter, but I think he'll get made before the end of the year

It's so hard to guess, because all the remaining deluxe-worthy characters are dipping into c and d listers, and that makes it harder to guess who gets priority.
You got Snout Spout, Rattlor, Blas Attak, Saurod if they actually have the balls to keep the sparks, the Energy Zoids, and maybe Extendar and Rio Blast (although personally I think those last two will be basics. >>9532964 Going to parot other anons, but aside from Filmation I feel like 200x, the CGI show, and Filmation She-Ra are the best.
200x has a cool aesthetic that largely serves as an update on the original, lots of focus on characters filmation never showed much or didn't show at all and some great action. The inclusion of the Snake Men was really great, and when they do take the rare creative liberty like on Zodac it pays off.
CGI He-Man unlike 200x doesny have those visuals that mirror Filmation, but I feel like the spirit and whimsical adventurous nature mirror that of Filmation. Fewer characters, but the characters we get have some nice development, and the many changes made to characters like Cringer, Krass, Orko, Trap-Jaw and Beast Man are really fun takes. Action is serviceable, worst part is some jokes may not land due to the demographic, but I wasn't bothered. I liked it a lot.
The original She-Ra is also great and you do get some character crossover, it's a fun time if you find yourself feeling blue now that you've seen Filmation Motu two or three times through and needing more. I did find myself missing He-Man as the protagonist and never found She-Ra herself quite as entertaining, especially with the banter Adam and Cringer had, but Hordak and his crew are fantastic and have some really fun interactions.
Can't speak much to New Adventures as I've only seen 3 episodes, I don't hate it, just never got into it and I'm sure I'd enjoy it now. New She-Ra I skipped after watching two with my sister, I've heard it gets better but it wasn't my bag. Revalation is a whole other rant and while it wasn't the dumpster fire some have you believe, it was the 2am Taco Bell slop that may hit the spot at first, but occasionally pains you while digesting.

The thing with Revelations is they did try too hard to be PC, and that enraged people. And it was probably on purpose. Like Teala gets a sideshave. And the just make up a black woman side character. They might be gay. They might not be gay. And Evil Lyn gets a short hair cut when she becomes the muscle mommy. Oh and like king grayskull is now black.
Which all doesn't really matter, but I did chuckle watching it knowing how much it would anger some channers. Like, as soon as saw that Teala shaved half her hair off, I could feel 4chan becoming enraged.
Anyway, surprised how much I liked it. Scareglow really became this really bad ass evil guy. And I want muscle lyn to sit on me. And I didn't know I needed a buddy comedy with orco and Lyn, but they work together with lyn being the straight woman just shitting on him all the time.
If you liked the old Sherah, give it a watch. Just know that they did pander to libs a bit but there is still fun to be had. Hamill is a hammy dick as Skelitor, and Scareglow is pretty evil in this.
Also, as an aside, its not progressive at all in the end. Teela and Lyn are both defined by their relationships with men and nobody every lezzes out.

200x would definitely need a new sculpt, head needs the sharper teeth. Probably can just reuse the LoP skeletor shins, and the normal armor but with the bones painted white. A new Havoc staff or swords would be cool, but I can see the standard ones being reused.

They'll just recolor a bunch of preexisting pieces and call it a day.

>>9534357 A new head sculpt, not head to toe. The armor standard Skeletor wears is already similar enough, the shins from LoP Skeletor are more than a close enough match, with a bit of paint you're close to having it down. Given we currently have 6 Skeletor heads(excluding Keldor), it doesn't seem like such a stretch to get that one new part. Skeletor has had a trend of constant new head sculpts.
I'm not saying it's a guarantee, but I am saying given what this line has done so far, it's not impossible or too unlikely.

>>9534381 >not impossible or too unlikely I will agree with "not impossible", I'll give you that...but I'm sticking to my guns that it's unlikely. If anything, I take your "6 heads" point as an argument in my favor just because most of them have only had one use so far and they're already putting out another new one with Terror Claws so they've got lots of options to choose from to be cheap

In Canada actual figures for this line didnt restock until nearly spring of 2021 and since then a ton of shit has been released. Buzzoff wave was planned for 2022 and was released with a good portion of US finding on shelves before Christmas ... fml. Personally I blame the waiting on scarcity. Also gives scalpers good reasons to be fucking sluts furthering the problem ...
