>>9547511>>9548447I think the Predator is a lot closer to the old Kenner stuff than people give it credit for. Sure, they could have probably pushed it further, but I would have been interested in seeing the line continue, to see what they could do with it. The only real "problem" is the fact that they were simply trying to reverse engineer movie Preds with much more drab, subdued color schemes into a toy line that was pretty much known for its crazy colors and stuff. The big dumb shoulder-mounted missile launcher canon fit right in with the big dumb missile launchers and weapons the Kenner figures had.
The Neomorph, on the other hand, is just not good. Neomorph is a pretty ugly, crappy design just as xenomorph anyway, and the figure really doesn't look anything like the old Kenner aliens.
So, I think the Berserker Pred was close, they could have just went a bit more crazy with it, but they really missed on the Neomorph, but that's more that its just an ugly looking design anyway. They honestly should have started with the Dog Alien, or even the Grid Alien from AvP, and they really could have emphasized the burns/cuts from the Predator net.
Its really a shame, because I would have loved to see them to like, the AvP Predators, Wolf, and maybe even some of the comic preds like this.
