What appeals to you more in your collection: play-scale or minifig-scale? I own the 2020 75288 AT-AT and I very much love it, but the UCS AT-AT is a tempting buy. I like that fact that it's minifig-scale and is accurately scaled (and detailed) compared to other Imperial vehicles like the 2021 Hoth AT-ST, which is also pretty accurately scaled. But $800 is a lot of dosh and I could buy multiple play-scale AT-ATs, or other Imperial sets, to had to a starting Imperial army. But being that the 2021 AT-ST would be nearly as tall as the play-scale AT-AT, I feel like that would make the AT-AT look dinky in comparison, which it already does look puny compared to the UCS AT-AT. So I'm wondering if I should go with a single UCS buy for accuracy and cool factor but sacrifice playability (I mean no one says you can't play with it) or just go with a couple more play-scale AT-AT buys for numbers and sacrifice accuracy.
And yes, I display and play at 22y/o.
