They should do a full remaster/remake of this game on the PS4 Spider-man engine, include the original as a bonus (on disc not digital download) and do a full Marvel Legends wave to promote it. Spidey, Venom, MJ, Carnage, Doc Ock, Scorpion, Monster Ock BAF.

OP here. So interestingly the Spider-man movie tie-in game (which this figure is based on) uses almost exactly the same design (pic related) for Scorpion as the Neversoft version. Which is kinda why I started this thread because I'd love a Scorpion figure accurate to two of my all time favourite Spider-man games. Why the figure isn't accurate to the game I don't know, maybe it was a rights issue, maybe they just wanted to do something different. Either way it would make my life so much easier if this figure was more accurate, but I'm still gonna look for one.

I’m sure there was a toy biz 5 inch 2 pack that had Scorpion but I can’t remember if it was this design

Wasn't this originally from the failed Bryne reboot? You know, where the radioactive spider was involved in the same lad accident that created Doc Ock and Norman and Sandman were cousins because they had the same hair .

I think they need to lean into that a little more. The idea that sticks with me most besides this game, is that one scene from the comics where Venom rescues a woman from a purse snatcher, eats the guy (I think) and then after returning the purse bounds off revelling in doing a good deed while the woman is petrified. The slightly goofy juxtaposition of this violent monster trying to be a sweetheart is wonderful.

I remember that. He actually shoved symbiote goo down the guy's nose and mouth and suffocated him, which was Venom's style at the time.

The best Venom is when he's treated like the Toxic Avenger or a xenomorph kissing babies and helping grannies cross the street.
