Eva is just a marketing juggernaut that’s willing to put its brand on anything that offers a couple yen.

That’s what companies do, and I’m fine with it. What annoys me is that it also claims to be some profound piece of Art that’s originality and gravitas can’t be matched, until it’s hack author decides to re-re-re-re-remake it again.
