I struggle with this too man. I found out i use it as a coping mechanism when I get too stressed at work. However it’s nice to have a girlfriend who really likes that you’re into the hobby and doesn’t mind seeing her 37 year old boyfriend play with 600 dollar transformers

oh that part. im pretty sure it's your common sense saying someone will take it from you or laugh at you somehow. Maybe try bringing in some outside elements like potted plants or a sandbox. Maybe you want to take pictures to justify bringing it out in the first place.

i sometimes keep two megaconstrux mini figs in an empty container (picrel) and keep that in my pocket. these containers especially benefit from having a separate, smaller compartment where I can store the associated weapons.

What do you mean by "play with it?" Like what do you actually do? For me, I like sitting on my desk and grab my newest figure or my favorite one and just sit on my desk and articulate for 15 mins.

i like to use my minis for a pseudo war gaming involving dice. i only play by myself though so if i really want something to happen that the dice didn't call for ill just go through with it regardless. it's honestly a lot of fun to do.
