There are a ton of people selling 3d printed versions of unreleased prototypes (like what would have been the 4th wave of Super Powers, etc, etc, etc). They are doing phenomenally well with sales, even if the quality is an unsanded static print. Only Autists sperging out here think they are going to get an actual production-quality toy.
You can find 3d printed toys of every quality, from simple crappy print to fully painted, sanded, articulated, etc, and everything varies in price depending on level of finish.
