>>9550381I really liked Icons, however neck articulation was crap. They simply can't look up, not even a little, making flying and running poses extremely limited.
Essentials had some really nice head sculpts, but were unjustifiably expensive considering 0 accessories and every character using the same basic body. Also, super floppy ankles.
DCUC looks nice on a shelf, very bright and colorful. Went deep into character selection, but articulation is terribly outdated.
Mattel Multiverse was just crap. Inconsistent and outdated articulation, soft sculpts, terrible paint jobs. Build a figures at the very end of the line were pretty good, but came with ugly boring figures (with a few exceptions).
McFarlane has too many Batmans and Jokers, articulation is generally good, but limited by the forward crunch. Still it's nice to get unique sculpts for most characters with minimal reuse. Vehicles have been fun. Also, variants and repacks make it less "stressful" to collect.
Spinmaster also suffers from the too many Batmans syndrome (might be a Warner thing). It's a fun kid line.
