Is it true that they ban you if you cancel preorders? I also heard they retaliate by selling your credit card info on the dark web.

I had PO some brown hiya aliens since summer, in december they finally came but I had no funds in my paypal and so the order was cancelled.

I still can buy and preorder, couple days ago I got the Alien Queen actually.

Anyways, the cancellation didn't bother me, it served as revenge actually because about 2 years ago they cancelled my own PO of 5 Aliens sending me a "get fucked, but we're sorry" email. They also sent me a two left handed SHF Hermione another time, so yeah, I didn't get my brown aliens but I got to middle finger them back.

No. I've cancelled literally dozens of pre-orders wjrn then after finding something in the wild before they get it in. I've never had an issue. Stuff also came out when they said it would generally, until the whole shipping crisis. I was still getting stuff on time from them in 2020.

Canceled all my star wars black Boba Fett pre-orders cuz they are shit and I'm waiting for the inevitable MAFEX versions. Never had issues with BBTS before, don't think I'll have issues now. They even replaced a figure after it broke right out of the box at no extra charge.

I've cancelled a bunch of pre orders, they're fine, and can even be asked to extend a pay window for a while if you need it when a pre order arrives.

They do put you in a lower priority for filling the orders though.

Never had any issue with them, and I order from them all the time. The only gripe I have is the long wait time for stuff to come into stock compared to some other sites for certain items, but once they say it's ready for ship it usually arrives within 2 days. Preorder cancellations have never been an issue with them, either. It's Amiami that most certainly gives people shit about cancellations - three strikes, you're out.

Haven't ever had an issue. The only place I know that will ban you for cancelling preorders/orders in general are Amiami and Mandarake if you do it too often, and even then they have a pretty reasonable threshold from what I've heard.
Reminder that singaporean hands are typing any complaints about BBTS that aren't them baking their flat rate shipping into a 5% higher price than other retailers.

The only actual problem I've ever had with BBTS is that they're slow. It takes forever for them to actually get stuff out the door and they use the slowest/cheapest method so you'll be waiting at least a full week for your order. They're not my first choice for anything, especially hot/new items or anything Japanese, but they're fine for older Western stuff.

I think they are fine, none has broke on me yet. But they do use different molds for the various Alien movies franchises which is cool in a way but you must be carefully in what you choose depending on what you want to do with them.

I have big chap, Aliens and AvP aliens, of them I find the Aliens creature the most poseable as they can even do the "crouching alien" pose but the AvP aliens have very limited hip movement and can only stand; Big Chap has limited hips too but has like mid-feet articulation for some reason.

They all look amazing, they are very detailed but I prefer Aliens design.

So yeah, get the Aliens figures if you want the most poseability, avoid AvP unless you really like that smooth caparace dome head look. And get Big Chap just because it looks cool.

It can be for a lot of reasons. Consider some people want to be ale to plan when their product is coming within reason and the longer the delay the more that makes it harder to work out when to be home or pick up the package. That said where BBTS has the pile of loot thing it's not as big a worry as you can ship everything once you have a lull in the year to be able to wait a week or two.

I live one state over and it takes over a week for delivery. Some of the blame can be placed on fedex being a shit tier courier, but when they 'ship' something by giving you a tracking number but don't hand it over to fedex until 5 days later, that's BBTS's fault

Eh, most of what people on /toy/ knows is strictly online stores and ONLY sites with an English page. These sites are generally strict with sales because of the risk with overseas buyers and that filters out the shittier buyers.

Non-import stores carry shit like normal and there's still a ton of physical stores who carry shit like any toy store would.

They sell a lot of things above MSRP and that makes some people so mad that they have to constantly bitch about them. Personally, I view it as cost for convenience. I could get most of the figures I buy from them for cheaper, but that comes with using several different sites, some import items are difficult to get for real pricing from the source before they are sold out, usually having to pay upfront and separate shipping for each item as they won't hold them for you, etc. When I use BBTS, I just let my order pile up for months and then ship it all at once for $4 and only have one package to worry about. It works out well for me, but I can understand that it's not the ideal solution for everyone.

I think the biggest issue might be is if you cancel stuff in your pile of loot. I mean there's no refunds after a certain point ends up being store credit so idk why they would be mad mad. They get to keep the toys AND your money.
