Hey /toy/

do Playmobil Sets and Accessories work well with Figma and Nendoroids? Like, Castles, Houses and stuff? can we get photos in here for comparison?

Small accessories like food, drinks, and plates might work. I don’t have any buildings or furniture, but here is a size comparison between a Figma and Playmo—as you can see, they’re about half the size of a Figma, so I don’t think they’ll scale well.

Yeah, notice how the head and hands are about the same size as the figma, so accessories meant to be used with those parts of the body tend to be oversized enough to be compatible. Everything else is going to be way too small, since the figures are even shorter than 1:18 figures.

As a general rule, Playmobil is scaled for GI Joe (or other 3 3/4 figures) on their knees.

While some props and accessories will work great (I use things like the playmobil cash register, vault, camera, and most of the food props) with 6" and 5" scales (and some 3 3/4" scales) other things will be too cramped. (Their houses, for example, may be too low for your figures to stand in.

For figma, it's a per-case basis, some things will work and some things won't.

For nendoroids (and calico critters and so forth) the scale is actually close to ideal. Having said that, a nendoroid will feel more at home in a calico critter house than a playmobil house.
