Do you have any aliens? Maybe do a group shot.
What do you think of the crouching alien? I was messing around with one Alien from Aliens and it can be posed like in the promo for the crouching alien, except the head, it can't be pulled back. So I guess they took an Aliens alien and improved the neck articulation.

They're able, they're just not willing. It's so frustrating, because I really like the line, and I want to like this spinoff.

I found a queen as well, and by some miracle in store! If you live in Michigan there's 2 really great places to buy toys near Muskegon that I just found this weekend, figures N flix, and langes comics in the mall (their prices are shit for the most part) I also picked up a sauron figure that's a little bigger than 1:18 but since he's a tall bastard anyway It works I'll post pics of him eventually

Where can I buy the Hiya Alien Queen? I need something for my PGV girls to fight. I used to use Lockertoys but they don't seem to have Hiya stuff anymore. BBTS will have them but they're too slow and they never mark packages down to avoid import duty.

>>9564682 I was tempted to pick up that set just to have a "fat commander" and a sexy secretary. Only it turns out the girl is a barely articulated accessory (commentary!) so you're paying $60+ bucks for just a fatguy and a coatrack.
I did pick up the Acid Rain Ankylo though and it's the most adorable little pillbug truck I've ever seen in my entire life. It sucks the bunkers are extra pieces and add to the price, but they really help transform this thing from a silly looking six wheeled pick up into a full fledged and fully loaded APC.
I love all the small details and the multiple working hatches on both the cab and the body of the bed itself. The flip up panels that allow the rear door to fully enclose the bed with the canopy on is a fantastic touch I wasn't expecting. As was the moving camera on the nose by the driver seat. I don't have many Acid Rain figures, but this one little ugly pug of a truck has more then enough room to fit all of em.
After getting this in hand, I now really want these guys to start making some good old school WWII style tanks. Keep the same design philosophy, attention to details, and hell even a similar size. Just a nice hunk of treaded metal with a fully rotating turret that can fit three to five figures completely enclosed inside it's cockpit. The mechs and artillery motorcycles are cool and all, but nothing beats a good old school, battlefield dominating tank.
Anonymous
>>9570200 My only real complaints about this truck are:
It feels *super* brittle, especially since it came in from the cold. All the joints and latches are super tight and I'm afraid something will break. Well, something *else* may break, as I already split one of the handles on the latches that keeps the cab in place. My suggestion when popping those open is to apply pressure on the frame of the grips and not the grips themselves.
Like the articulated wheel feature is surprisingly sturdy, but it does *not* feel good to move. The rear wheels are especially scary as you kind of have to pull them out first before rotating them. The spring in the detent is super strong and the gear itself feels fairly brittle, so it's something to be very careful about.
I also wish it has some sort of co-pilot seat. There's lots of room in the cab, so it would've been nice to have some sort of coms seat or something. There's two little mini seats for passengers and storage for a table that folds down so someone can stand on it to man the turret (which sounds safe), but only one driver seat and nothing else.
It feels *dirty*. Like, just gritty and dusty and like I shouldn't be breathing deeply while handling it. I noticed paint flaking off while I was moving the joints around and it has some scary tight tolerances on the various tabs and the slots you slide the bunker canopy into. Like I get it, Acid Rain is supposed to be set in some post apoc desert wasteland, but I don't need that wasteland getting all over my couch.
Overall, it's a fantastic truck and something I'm really happy to have. If they make more of these with different features I may end up getting them, but as for now....I have to go wash my hands.

Cant speak for all the new xenos. This one is a bit taller it seems. Joints are really stuff. Havent been able to free the ankles but will probably do another got water dip. The hip has a t-bar kinda swivel that is very loose. Definitely different than the older colonial marines releases. Mouth opens and jaw slides out pretty easy with gravity. Knees and arms do feel a bit better but again are stiff even after a hot water dip. Not too bad all in all. Probably pick up some of the others and any preds I run into.

So anyone else get their Roboskull Backerkit yet? I got it the other day, but I wanna wait till payday to put my order in. I'll definitely be picking up a team of the Jungle Wolves, though I may go 6" for the actual Skeletron figure. Mainly because I'm *really* curious to see how well Marauder John handles the scale increase, as the renders for both scales identical. I might even through in a Gyre Wolf just to have a Co-pilot in the Roboskull, as I will be using it with the 1:18 stuff.
Anonymous
>>9587032 >wanna wait till payday You won't pay for the completed backer kit order until it closes, so you still have until March or April or whenever it closes.
It would be good to see some updated shots for how the 6" figures will be. Pretty safe to assume they'll just have Classified type articulation, since that's the scale they'll be aiming for, per the Skeletron creators.
I'm not entirely sure what I want to put in yet, if anything more. It sure would be nice if the All-In also got the new items, but can't be too greedy, I guess.

And while they may be going for Classified Scale, I don't really see them matching the level of articulation. They seem like they're just upscaled versions of the 4' stuff, which I'll be fine with cause the marauder figures are pretty great already.

>>9587215 They're just using the 3d model for the 1/18 figures, I highly doubt Marauder would finally be releasing their first 1/12 figures and just upscale their 1/18 figures. I'm pretty sure in the comments of various posts they talked about articulation and mentioned something along the lines of "expect the usual amount of articulation that modern 1/12 figures get".

>>9587349 I'll be honest, I always doubted how successful a line of "sexy demon girls" could be at this scale, especially with BFS doing it. I love 1:18th and all, but for stuff specifically meant to be visually attractive, you need to modify your engineering a lot. Just throwing a new head on a basic blank nude was never going to get the job done, and from the looks of these promo pics, it seems like I was right.
>>9587503 >>9587703 I just picked up one of these and I love it. The plastic feels a bit flimsy, but overall it's a fantastic truck. I wish there were more option parts available for it as it's not really living up to the "modular" aspects it advertises right now, but it does give you lots of future potential for customizing with all it's option ports.
It also comes in the most basic of bare bones boxes and requires some minor assembly. But that was actually kinda fun and a bit of a nostalgia trip from back in the original days of G.I. Joe vehicles.
>>9588224 They are, to be blunt, AWFUL figures. Mushy sculpts, bare bones articulation, flimsy accessories and they can barely stand on their own or even hold said accessories. Vii is easily the worst figure in the set with her absurd pin head, rounded platform feet and those awful, awful arms.
I kinda regret getting the set when it came out and haven't bothered with the line since then. But if you're a fan of the franchise and characters, or think you can make use of some of their parts for mods, or even just like the look of one figure, $14 for the whole set isn't the worst, just don't have high hopes for these things.

Quoted By:
>>9588273 I wouldn't buy them at that price because the designs are too out of date compared to current action figures. Even their 6" figures are rough. Jakks really needs to figure it out. Even look around 20 years back to their WWE Deluxe Aggression line and those are ahead of their current offerings. Even their Build n Brawl line from that time with 1/18 or so wrestlers is far ahead of these 1/18 offerings.

They're soft, mushy, oddly shaped and hard for figures to hold. The "sword" that comes with the black kid is also super soft and will most likely come warped in the box.
The pink mini-gun is kinda cute, but it's a solid chunk and very rubbery. I'm not saying to not get the set, $14 for five crap figures isn't a bad deal, but I will suggest to trust that guy feeling of yours.

As long as they're not Elite Force cheapness, i don't see how they're bad.
Also, the shark is the thing I'm almost wanting to buy the set for. I'm actually contemplating just buying the single figure just for it, because i do not want 3 other figures that i have no idea what to do with.

I forgot to take one of the interior, but it is decently detqiled, has a sport turning wheel and shift and both are very bendy so they can be posed at will, the wheel rotates apart from being bendy too so that's nice, it has a rear view mirror, some panel details and a couple of pilot ventilators or maybe they are some race car gauges, I don't know much about cars.
Very recomended anons, get one it's a lot of fun!
