>>9560923>No Such ThingYes there is, and you show hour lack of business smarts by saying this. Having two properties of the same genre and (at least perceptively) the same style is a great way to neuter your market. Why else did the Lego Space line die out immediately after Lego was given the reigns to Star Wars?
>If Lego had Star Trek with Star Wars it wouldn’t affect their sales.Maybe not Lego’s overall sales but definitely Disney and Paramounts since they benefit from having the licenses, and if either company see’s that their own line is being sidelined for another owned by their competitor, they will either drop the license or enforce legal demands. Why else donyou think Lego Star Wars is so saturated and huge compared to the other brands?
>Disney wouldn’t careThey absolutely would care, they love the profits from Lego and are not gonna let some other company come in and take potential marketing and resources from their line, and Lego would easily side with Disney on this too since they don’t have the best of history with Paramount.
>We have both Lego DC and MarvelBut never at the same time though. Have you ever thought it weird that we go significant portions of time without Lego DC/Batman or Marvel Superheroes?
