Looks like the new micro scale Jazwares figures are hitting shelves, just spotted these guys at Target. They sell for 6 USD each.

Picked up Dark Voyager, they also had most of the other ones too. The articulation is pretty much identical to the Mega Construx figures. The knees don't bend very far though as you can see in picrel. Some of the characters say "loop breaker" by their names but idk what it means.

Forgot to mention that they also had most of the other ones at Target, including E.L.F., Red Knight, Battle Hound, Zero, Spitfire, and Love Ranger. Unfortunately I didn't take any pics bc I didn't want to autistically take them all off the pegs and line them up. They didn't have any of the playsets that were leaked, just the figures.

I love articulated mini figures, but it's disappointing that these are missing a way to twist at the arms or knees. If they used integrated ball joints like MCX figures I feel like they'd be a lot more fun. Good that they have wrists, and while feet would have been nice, not entirely essential for this kind of figure.

The Hasbro figures are more expensive, have less accessories than the Jazwares, and are also the 3rd 6-7" Fortnite figure line. Momentum was bound to slow at some point. I can only speak to my area, but only wave 1 has shown up and they're not moving particularly quickly.

Can anyone tell me about the legendary figures? I found oro at Ross and I like skeletons so I got him but I really like his accessories and his scale so I want to get more if there are any. I'm usually pretty lienent when it comes to Hasbro being Hasbro, but the lack of accessories in this set is pretty awful. The other deluxe sets at least had some basic gear to go along with their big glider/gimmick pieces. So just having a figure with a glider is pretty lame.

Hell, I don't even want the glider myself, so that makes this set even more obnoxious.

Hell the Jazwares gliders didn't even have figures in this scale, which I honestly prefer because then I didn't need to buy a useless hunk of plastic to get a character I wanted.

Both lines, as well as the McFarlane ones, had their upsides and downsides, but figures without tons of gear will always be a negative. All the other Deluxe packs had just that, lots of gear to go with the big plastic hunk of junk, so this one not having that gear just sucks.

I apologize, it was the McFarlane gliders who were $20 bucks at retail, with the Dragons hitting $25 (though those were worth it). But I did see the bomb set going for $25 in stores, as I bought it for $20 when it went on "sale".

And I agree, this release IS a downgrade in value. I said that. Literally half my initial post was saying just that. However the other Deluxe sets were not, and that's why this is an issue. Sky, Joules and Meowscles all came with tons of gear on top of their extra giant accessory. All the other Basic Hasbro figures had plenty of gear AND were better figures (who could actually hold their weapons), so they felt worth the price.

This new glider set, which I said was a problem, comes with limited accessories and that's a bad thing.

I never really liked how the Saras and Ripleys faces looked like on the Neca versions, and it would be nice to have a decent John Wick that isn't a $70+ figure.

$20 for a motorized glider and a figure isn't an inflated price, retard. it's literally less than it would've cost for the figure and the glider separately.

I would say the chances are probably slim. The studios make deals to have their characters appear in the game, but it doesn't mean Epic can cut a deal with Hasbro or Jazwares to sell a figure based on that character. I would be happy if they would just make a Reaper figure.

Personally, I find that the proportional changes were the real gamechanger for that time period. Old MCX figures had really huge heads and thicc limbs that looked pretty odd. Some figures still hold up well, but for the most part the changes in proportions were a great thing. I'm especially happy with the Sangheili head sizes when the helmets are removed, I was worried they would turn out overly large but they look virtually perfect.

They started a bit too late with the merch in general. Most of the actual kid fanbase probably already moved onto Fortnite by then.
I also feel they split the customer base by having so many of the same characters in both Figma and Hasbro at the same time, and also sticking too many characters as exclusive to box sets or alt colors.

I think Fortnite will stick around in popularity for quite a while; at least longer than Overwatch was able to.

The one bad thing about the 4" one is that his 2 pistols are just sculpted in, so definitely cool that his pistols here are removable. In the game is that gun with the pancakes his mining weapon? The deluxe in the first wave were meh. Mancakes looks to be in the right direction and more in line of what Jazzwares was offering with their deluxe figures. The basic ones are just terrible for the price they're asking.
