It was such a weird thing to do. Like wouldn't it make more sense to just say the robots genders don't really matter anyways since they don't fuck to reproduce like humans do. Arcee being a manbot who got a botched transition surgery into a fembot that apparently also made her psychologically unstable to the point of giving her psychosis and outbursts of violence is one of the most fucked up things to do, especially if you're trying to come off as "supportive" of the demographic.
