>>9586048 be fair the series was always unrealistic with how the kids survived everything. Also technology in the Jurassic Park universe has always been above ours even during the events of the original movie, with the tech to clone dinosaurs, the fences, and whatnot. Jurassic World in the 2010s had the gyrospheres and a bunch of high tech shit.
This is to say that I always viewed CC as this little kid spin-off so I didn't care it had fucking robots in season 4, it was always unrealistic and most people who are butthurt are the ones who thought "THIS IS 100% CANON AND REALISTIC!!!11"
>>9586051That would make great little stories like the prologue in the original Jurassic Park novel but this is hollywood and everything has to be "bigger and higher stakes", so they couldn't go from a park going awry to just a few smaller incidents in a village for example.
I'm at least glad it took 5 movies for them to fully go with this idea.
JP/// traced back to the island despite already having a mainland Rex, JP/// ended with the pteros loose and escaping the island, JW kept having this subplot of using dinosaurs as weapons in war and FK spent the entire movie about how it was going to happen but kept it in the mansion at least. I hope the movie fails so they retreat back to the park idea for any reboot.
I still feel the idea of concept of dealing with the aftermath of the park failing has never been done justice. TLW was a different island and had a boring cast and moved the plot to the mainland while FK barely spent any time at all in the island before moving to the mansion.
