If you look at OP’s pic, I think the same thing happened to her pauldron. The edges don’t look as sharp.
I’m wondering now if they softened the sculpt on purpose to give her a more animated look. It would’ve been the cheapest way to achieve that look, but it was clearly unsuccessful and just comes off as mushy. Also, if they did change it on purpose without telling the buyers, that’s just a shitty thing to do overall. I’ll definitely be canceling my Sonja and Vampi if they turn out the same.
