IT's like the writing rooms, where there's a room full of writers, yet you almost always only see one or two writers credited for each episode, even if other people helped in punching up the jokes or doing some changes.
Anyway, McFarlane probably has the same amount of say too. He probably approves everything, even if he wasn't involved in any of the steps for the creation of the toy, except at the end.
