>>9617384Holy fucking shit, I've never seen this before. But I AM familiar with Palisades through their Muppet, cartoon, etc. work and know that they were one of the best toy companies of all time. They put in 110% effort on everything. They packed blisters with accessories, alternate parts, and even diorama BAF-style pieces until they literally sagged under the weight. Hell, sometimes even the figures themselves just weighed a ton because they were massive. They even tried to integrate articulation (admittedly, with varying levels of success) in figures that other companies would have just made statues, like Zim. The designs are so thin and spindly most companies would have made them static or fucked with the proportions (see: many Sonic lines), but Palisades went in there with some of the tiniest fuckin swivel hinges I've ever seen and made it happen. And sure, that meant you had breakage issues sometimes, but that too was like them. Always reaching for the sun, sometimes even past their means.
They were a spark that burned too bright and too quick, and they were gone too soon. RIP Palisades.
