>>9646483In terms of currently sold ones, the Pix has a huge amount of lists of stuff to fill - eg foods cooked/bought, items obtained, characters met (although not characters you evolve into). It has a pretty good variety of content, like the available games cycling every day from 3 sets. It lacks the ability for downloadable content (most color tamas support custom content because the dlc formats got cracked) but has a pretty large amount of content on the base device to make up for it.
If you're open at the secondary market, then a bunch of the earlier japanese color versions included a more traditional list of earned characters to fill up. You have to get an adult and then perform a couple of actions (eg use their favorite meal + snack + toy and keep them for a couple days) and then they get added to your list, and there's unlocks when you reach certain thresholds of characters earned, such as locations and icon backgrounds depending on the versions. Those are -
iD, iDL, P's, 4U, 4U+
The P's and 4U (not plus) have english patches, you need a special phone to use IR/NFC to transfer the patch files though which is an additional expense
The newest Japanese version Smart has a similar feature with earnable tokens although it's just a list and there's no concept of rewards or completion (since downloadable characters exist and also have tokens you can earn, and there's a limit to how many tokens the device will store)
