>>9634394Like I said Masterverse has superior engineering and articulation. That can't be argued, the only misstep I feel is the thigh cut which isn't the end of the world. The frustrating part is the sculpts. It has nothing to do with "soul" or being a Four Horsemen elitist, Classics was far too frustrating to obtain at the time for me to fondly remeber it as "soul", especially when it initially went to a subscription based platform. Classics sculpts are simply the better option(except some female figures who looked dead), and if you like Masterverse that is cool. I'm not bitter Classics ended, they put out everyone ans then some. Masterverse just seems like a a step forward and back, which leaves it in some sort of limbo. But if you like Masterverse keep enjoying it, I'm just hoping the sculpts improve.
>>9634423I got that Skeletor, He-Man and Skelegod, Skelegod was super flimsy but He-Man and Skeletor felt fine. Like you said, those headsculpts were just super off and very small. The body proportions aren't the best, but I imagine the small heads didn't help much. I slapped an Origins head on Skeletor which did help to some extent. Evil-Lyn looks great, and while I'm not crazy about the design for her, I don't regret picking up that one. Her face sculpts is spot on. If they could do her in a classic costume or even her bat themed one I'd be really excited. Even Andra has a really nice face sculpt, which is odd as the current Teela looks really phoned in compared to those two. The line is still fresh and I'm not counting it out yet, but I think a direction like New Eternia could be the way to go. Optional parts for a classic look, but different enough to be interesting. What do you think of the New Eternia He-Man?
