The other raid bosses have also been based on holidays (until Reaper, I guess), but for the most part they were decorated/wearing the things which represented the holiday, so it’s an odd design choice. Having her constantly positioned with the heart was probably a form of mild but intentional censorship, and having Gatomon and Putimon there was probably mainly to provide enough extra aesthetic embellishment for people not to question the candy heart too much.
If that’s the case, the odds of being able to raise our own Angewomon later from a future DiM release are kind of low, which sucks because I want to be able to do more canon fusions/jogress, and combining her with LadyDevimon would be a really good one.
