After watching the movie, its insane how much merch they made for this that was targeted towards kids. I have a hard time thinking kids would enjoy that movie.

Its inevitable that they'll make merch for kids, but this Batman movie toyline feels so dull compared to most. There's no really crazy variants like most Batman movie toylines. The Dark Knight in 08 also avoided brightly colored variants, too, but TDKR had them.

As someone who collected the spin masters figures before the movie it annoys me that these are in a bigger scale so I can’t use the Batmobile for other Batmans but I like how these have more realistic proportions

well this pic is what I want, apparently it’s part of a new wave that is coming out. It’s 1/6 scale. I’m sure it will fit mcfarlane or shf/mafex as that is the closest that we will came to getting a bat mobile that can fit 1/12 scale.

not that i dont believe you, the movie is doing well, but the screening i went to only had me, my gf and some other group consisting of two or three other people. it was empty and i genuinely thought the movie was going to bomb, which I'm glad it isn't. granted, it was a 3pm showing, but still.

I'm in a well populated city so i was surprised about how there weren't that many people, but I noticed a handful of groups lining up at the concession stand after we got out of that screening. not as much as no way home, but still.

No idea what it's like where you are, but here in NC I had to delay seeing it Friday because every showing that night was already sold out. I ended up having to order early tickets see it at 12:00 yesterday afternoon since it was the only showing the entire goddamn day that wasn't entirely sold out or had only handicapped seats left. Only other time I've had that happen was with No Way Home a few months back.

Mine has a loose right wrist and excess glue around the bat symbol. I had to repaint and regions the symbol because it had chunks of glue to remove. The symbol looks fine now, but I can't seem to get the rubber chest back to the semi-gloss matte on the areas that need work.

The Batman was an actual film, yeah it felt like Se7en lite for half the movie but it was still kino and mogs 99% of capeshit out today.
NWH is great but it relies to heavily on Tobey nostalgia than on actually being good. Crazy how Disney managed to brainwash the sheep into thinking Andrew was anything but a fucking mistake/stain on Spiderman. But apparently now everyone actually always loved him and his movies were underrated classics. Fuck off.

Out of context I think a 5 year old would find a Two-Face figure scarier. But for real, that suit is poorly suited for Batman play. Kids like to have the Riddler make booby traps and verbally taunt The Good Guys, but with that mask he sort of loses any sense of personality.

It just seems odd how this of all movies got a ton of kid oriented merch while other more kid friendly movies like say Shazam didn't. Now I know, I know. Depends which one, I think the McFarlane Year Two is a pretty damn cool classic Batman figure
For a more modern one, the Mafex Hush one is great, as is the DKR figures if you're ok with the DKR look.

Yup I got him. I am going to add my Mezco Reeve Superman when I get a minute, and in the center will be the new Mezco Superman when it releases in 5 years. I have Black Suit Cavil from McFarlane on it's way, as is Red Son Superman. Now I just need Superboy Prime, and to dig out the animated Superman and I am all set until they release more Superman Shenanigans, which Todd will no doubt do.

There seems to be two batches, one is fine the other has two problems: upside down abdomen (easily fixable, just heat, pop and reattach) and pulled down mask attached to cape (it's a separate piece, but it's glued, although apparently it's not too hard to remove). If you buy in person it's easy to spot the upside abdomen, should look like pic.

I have to give Todd credit for bringing up price in his videos where he talks about his toys and how he aims to keep prices lower for people I do worry he will have to raise prices soon but at least he communicates with the consumer about the price and how he aims to keep prices lower than competition
