The NECA and TMNT threads are already mirroring a lot of each others content, lol. I guess it can't really be helped when most toy companies nowadays are building themselves up into gigantic monoliths carrying dozens of licenses each. There's inevitably gonna be some overlap.

Let's ignore the attention whore and stay on topic.
1st wave of Jada Universal Monsters was Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, Bride of Frankenstein and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Which characters you thing they will make for wave 2 other than Wolfman?
I guess the Mummy and Invisible Man are the most likely ones but who will be the 4th? Phantom of the Opera? VanHellsing? Victor/Henry Frankenstein?

Well.... I mean... Yeah, looks like from the early 2000s. Awkward sculpts and little to no articulation. I love seeing obscure stuff get merch, I just wish it wasn't statue shit.

I'm not even one of those people that shitpost with "it's bad on purpose!" because sometimes stuff looks cool when it tries to emulate an old style, but in this case I don't feel that way. But maybe the packaging will also emulate that early 2000s style which would be neat. As a kid I loved collecting Cult Classics, Movie Maniacs and Cinema of Fear but I always wish they had articulation, and now modern horror stuff does and it rules. This line is like, REMEBER WHEN THESE FIGURES DIDN'T HAVE ARTICULATION????? COOL RIGHT??? no, not cool.

They're getting real obscure with some of these. I like that. Still though, not familiar with Haunt or Candy Corn. Those good at all?

These are neat, but I feel like they're kind of redundant and unnecessary when NECA is doing a line of these.

The NECA ones (at least what they have out) are better with sculpt and paint and the articulation is about the same for not much more money. I feel like the Jada line looks cheap in comparison. Except I did pick up the Creature of the Black Lagoon form them, cus that one did stand out to me, looked much better quality than the rest of that line.

I don't mean to be too down on the JADA line though, on it's own it's neat. Better option too if you have other figures in that scale like Marvel Legends or whatever to display them with.

They look pretty spot on. Interested in Pumpkinhead and especially the Killer Klowns. The short lived SOTA Toys movie line did 2 awesome Klowns, one had a cotton candy victim display base. MEGO released two Klowns as well. I have one, the tall blue one, he's got green hair. I'm happy with it. I just started seriously collecting MEGO after rewatching Hammer horror movies, since they're doing a lot of Hammer characters. MEGO's a bit hit or miss but a lot of their new stuff is strongly movie accurate and capture the spirit of the characters. The Christopher Lee Dracula figure is a beauty in hand.
