>>9670244They're pretty damn smooth. I have bought many resin printed parts now and while this may differ with, I dunno, different printers or resins or whatever, pretty much everything I've bought has been superb quality. There may be layer lines, but if there are, neither my hand nor my eye can detect them. They seem quite smooth to me, and after a layer of paint, I cannot even tell they were 3D printed. Look at the fineness of the "Xenos Mortis" cutout on this sword, for example (for transparency's sake, I did adjust the levels of this pic so it was easier to see the textures, this type of resin is very pale so it's hard to make out details sometimes). Basically, resin prints are about as perfect as I could ever have hoped for as a consumer. Hell, I am even using some parts unpainted and unprocessed whatsoever, because they happened to be printed in the right color already and they look fine as-is.
If you need personal proof and have a few bucks to spare, buy a little weapon off TMM in the Warhammer thread, and you can judge the quality for yourself.
