For posability Blast Off has got a swiveling noodle and thighs, universal hips, and very deep knee bends.
Elbows are double jointed because they'd have to be get his hand above his shoulder chunks.
This is where the praise ends.
There is a terrible price to pay for these rad giant shoulders.
That price... is nearly all function.
You might be able to see the ball join, roughly inline with the chest grill, that's where the whole arm assembly connects to the body.
And the arm itself drops down from inside the shell above and behind that joint.
So where the shoulder rotates is at that ball joint, below where the shoulder line on a humanoid normally sits, and it takes the whole thing with it if you want to swing the arm forward. It looks terrible.
There is no outward arm movement save for the ball elbow and there is no bicep.
It's a crime how close this toy is to being perfectly good.
