Perhaps the best theme was hero factory (not bionicle). The theme was simple, but i liked where it was going. The first wave was terrible. Fire line was good, witch doctor wave heroes looked incredible. Breakout was the best wave and everything went downhill from there.
HF is the only line i fully remember except bionicle g1 and g2. My biggest regret was not getting atlantis sets. I got all the mid sized power miner vehicles and never needed the big stuff.
I filled the void in my heart with gunpla. Gunpla can be silly fun, or extremely serious war drama and it offers alot of variety, and if i get bored bandai has other kits. Painting is also a skill thats way harder than MOCs'.
