>>9700918>>9700577Someone put a high bid, the amount that you placed isn't higher, so it just automatically bumped up the price by 50 yen more than what you bid.
Here's a real good tip:
Don't game YAJ like it's Ebay. It's not a goblin race to whoever gets the last bid in, they have fair play rules in place for that, it's usually up to the guy putting the auction up, it's called extension and basically, if someone bids in the last 3 minutes, the timer gets extended by 10 minutes, and it'll keep going like that until either the auction guy decides or one of you gives up on the item. So, back to the main point: it's a different ball-game, so instead of trying to get the last bid in, put in as much as you think you'd pay for it, and keep it high, to discourage any potential buyers. Note that what you're paying for is what the highest bid is, not the high bid that you place, so it's cool. YAJ is big game money shit and the only way to win is to kick all the thrifty japs out, the only people you'll have trouble with are whales and other first worlders, but you just gotta outmoney them. I hope I explained this well enough kek
One more tip: keep a fucking eye out on your auction nigga, it's all hands on deck in the last 5 minutes, I have that shit on email notification when an auction is an hour away from expiring.
