I got into buying bootlegs for a while, and while I did get a few okay ones, I largely lost money on figures that were so garbage that there was really nothing to do but throw them out. They were just terrible, and would have takens dozens of hours to fix all their issues (and even then, the crap quality plastic meant they'd probably snap eventually).
It's just not worth it.
