>>9740769I’m sure some of it is nostalgia, but I also think people are finally realizing the movie isn’t meant to be a Tim Burton follow up as much of an Adam West. At least in the sense of its style and ideas on what Batman is like.
I was a teenager when the movie came out and remember being disappointed with how different it was from the Burton movies. Rewatching it a few years ago, i was actually able to appreciate it way more. Silver age comics were goofy and had some insane ideas, and the Schumacher Batman movies really encompass that feeling.
Not saying the movies are good, but they are very enjoyable to me now.
