The OS Jinbao Gravity Builder is great and it's about 20" tall. Fuck scale, buy big bots.

The only issue with this mold is the shitty way the head is integrated.
In bot mode there's basically nothing holding the head on, just a floppy plate of dubious engineering. It's even worse for the nicer upgrade head, which has literally no place in alt mode and just hangs off the crane like a tumor. At least the default head folds up nice and neat for Hook's vehicle mode.

Its not petty in my opinion. I've always felt that Bruticus should be one of the larger combiners. Just makes sense, what with them being giant military vehicles.

You can just unscrew that part, yeah. There's a couple screws and a spring loaded ratchet dealie inside. It's been a hot minute since I took it apart tho.
