Same way that most of /toy/ are giant brandwhores for Figuarts, LEGO, and Revoltechs. So i don't think any country is immune to shit that is attributed to Americans.
Most people don't notice that local toy places still exist, usually in the form of comic book stores. Strictly toy stores also deal with imports and hipstership like Funkos, because higher margin toys are better than low margin mass market toy by Hasbro or Mattel. These low margins are why a lot of these indie stores price MLs for like $5 more than what you see at Best Buy, Target, Gamestop, or Walmarts.
Doing a simple google nets me about a dozen different toy stores in my county, and this isn't counting the comic book and import stores. Seems like a lot of them are selling used shit too.
