>>9932574>trainsany of the major 00 manufacturers put out good shit but try to find models preowned, you can get like half of RRP if you're lucky. the hattons preowned models page is great for this, naturally there's some risk involved but the listings tell you if there's anything wrong with them no matter how minor.
inherent quality of models varies no matter the manufacturer, so it's best to find reviews and forum posts and shit relating to an individual release to come to your own conclusion rather than just blindly trust the brand. some of the faultiest and shittiest running models i own are from hornby, and so are some of my very best
>rolling stockditto but oxford rail wagons are the often half as expensive as others. bachmann's stuff in general is often a lot more modern than some of hornby's with huge triang-era D couplings and only plain moulded detail
>trackpeco code 75 bullhead is probably the most realistic stuff available on the 00 scale market, but the peco code 100 streamline or setrack ranges do the same job and won't give you any problems with any older models you own that might have those huge 80s steamroller flanges
>buildingsresin buildings from hornby/bachmann/oxford are usually nice, but you'll save a lot of money through kitbuilding. peco, ratio, wills, etc., putting together a signal box or something is no more difficult than an airfix spitfire.
as for scenery and foliage n shit i've not done enough to know what's best lol
