Then I checked Hobbylink, and all my preorders over the last year that Amazon delayed were in stock. I didn't understand. They were just there, in stock and ready to ship. Bought my entire backlog of preorders in one night, canceled the preorder on Amazon, and I got all my stuff 2 weeks later. Weird...
I think Amazon is just a bunch of 3rd party sellers that get their supply from other 3rd party sellers, so they all got backed up with supply chain shit. Hobbylink, though, is actually located in Japan, so they got everything firsthand.
I think the moral of the story, is shop around. It might cost more, but at least I have my stuff. I just know if I had waited another 3 months for Amazon, they'd just cancel my order, and I'd be stuck paying Ebay prices anyway.
