The problem isn't that it has "a message", but the complete lack of ANYTHING ELSE OF MERIT. If the "message" of the original films was like a boat floating in a lake, the new films are that lake drained and the rusting husk of said boat sitting in a plateau of mud surrounded by the decaying remains of aquatic life.

It was kinda like that issue with the Vulture figure where the heads fell off on their own because of the way they were packaged, only this was entirely deliberate, and only made possible because of the "environmentally friendly" packaging, which thanks to the stupid meme has ironically resulted in MORE plastic waste in the form of these headless figures.
