>>9810768I feel like your response assumes I'm a big hasbro or Mattel fan.
Also I don't think either company has been reusing 6 different bodies for awhile now. Still some reuse like all toy companies, but they do a lot more than that. Especially hasbro, they've been stepping up their game with recent releases.
MCF would have to up their game on everything. Other than what you pointed out with their joints, I think all the joints would just have to be reworked. It's a lot of ugly hard cuts and the double knees and elbows have ugly pins.
The paint is also usually not that good. They should also use face printing, assuming it's good face printing.
And then there's accessories that aren't as sharp as they can be, like those gummy looking batarangs.
Idunno, I think they have potential but a long way to go.
>>9810770>Did you know BS doesn't even have double jointed elbows for most figures yet? It's insane. Not really that insane. A lot of the current BS figures have single jointed elbows because they're engineered in a way that gets them over 90 degrees bend, which is the important part. It has almost all the range of a double jointed elbow but looks much better. It'd be nice to have the full range but most characters don't need that.
I only one BS figure, and I love how he's engineered. One of the newer storm troopers. I can get him holding his gun in 2 hands, and aiming down his sights easily, and it looks almost seamless, because of how they engineered the joint.
