>>9797485>Just because you have experts in a team to develop plastics, doesn't mean you're also willing to pay more for premium plastics. But that's exactly what they're doing.
IF they actually wanted to cut costs, they'd fire their chemists and just buy whatever is laying around that already has a pages of documentation like McFarlane, Furuta, Brio, PlayMobil, Kayodo, and hundreds of other smaller toy companies that produce children toys.
As much hate as Hasbro has gotten lately, they're still progressive in trying to give everyone more bang for their buck. Even Mattel has an image that they're trying to uphold. So while they're cutting costs in other places, they don't in others.
I should note that a lot of people believe that gummy rubbery plastics don't hold detail, yet one of the most gummiest plastics in the world (up til whenever Acid Rain released) was used by McFarlane for their detailed as fuck mcstatues. There are many misconceptions in the toy community.
>nothing I said had anything to do with weight,Again, it's just an example (analogy), especially since it those are common complaints. I can't refer to ever little niggling point.
>So you're basically saying no one can ever assess quality. BAsically, yes. Do you have the money to actually find out what they're using and hunt down all the components to actually say they're not quality? Of course you don't, won't, and can't, hence you just talking about how they feel... which you admit to having a hard time even explaining, making it a very nebulous point on your part.
So all we really know is the FACT that Hasbro is spending more time, money, and actually researching their own plastics vs doing what the majority of toy companies.
>>9797487but the joints do have top tier tolearances, hence the joints becoming tight/stuck when something else is added. It's extremely hard to fuck up when you're making high pressure injection molded toys, because the process is high end and exact.
