Professor Whomst thread.

Probably a bit of a longshot but I don't suppose anyone here would know how to go about repairing an old Product Enterprise R/C 8" movie Dalek? I've only been able to find a single guide on youtube and that's for the 12" versions which are assembled differently.
So far the red one is the only one I've opened as it was the only one responding to the remote just turn over the wheels to unstick the drive motors, there was only just barely enough clearence to get in to do that and if I try pull any harder on the base I'll no doubt break something since it's connected right up to the dome for the ear lights and head/eyestalk movement. The blue one has responded a couple of times with the head in certain positions while the black one is completely unresponsive though the red light on the back comes on for both of them so the batteries are clearly working. I don't really know how to go about fixing these 2 without stripping them down completely as there must be loose connections to the receiver inside but there's no obvious way to do so without destroying them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
