If you’re talking about views and likes, posting figures that are relevant to current pop culture will get you the wider audience, but posting obscure things will get you more appreciation from those small fanbases.
Ultimately, consistency is the key. Making new posts often will get you more traction on the algorithm. Also, Instagram itself cares more about videos than pics and will always prioritize them.
