But I work for a company that makes precision injection molding machines, and the supply chain problems are definently still here. It can take weeks to get PLCs and other components, so we've had to start carrying an inventory of expensive parts we used to order as needed, which then need to be insured because we're sitting on thousands of dollars worth of inventory all the time, which in turn raises the price of the finished units.
So this doesn't seem all that crazy to me.
