>>9828809>>9831140Man, sorry I didn't see these until now hahaha!
Agree the choice of the Robot Spirits like
>>9828874 suggested, is better in the long run. Just commit to the decision as the aftermarket tax is brutal on these figures...
Personally kept going for the RAHs because of the size and proportions, and got the Robot Spirits versions to be the playable pieces of the collection; but especially more because I'm invested in the line and have the 2.22 Units 00-02 myself. On materials, gave my First Release RAH Eva Unit-01 a look over recently(likely gonna be purge selling it due to a NPE RAH Unit-01 being held for me though), and the rubber and suit is okay; but I hardly ever posed the arms for too long when I had it out on display to be honest.
On MY RAH Eva-13 [2021, odd they kept this on the boxes with the 5-month delay hahaha], there is some bad paint QC spots. Mostly on the upper arm 'bands' and top-of-arm unit shoulder ID 'patch'. Though I forgive those nitpicks since 13's inner body is a lot more sturdier, than the ones I got with my 2.22 RAHs that are so floppy like dolls; get worried leaving them out using these stands. My WonFes Unit-00 is best of them, but I rely on the stand arm than its knee joints.
Wanna mention to avoid the Mafex Evas though, or literally wait until you can see one in person. Paint QC to me was abysmal on a Unit 00 and 02 I saw in box at a con, and believe we had a anon lament in RD General about a then new Mafex Eva-13 coming apart real easy; the latter instance made me really consider dropping my RAH Eva-13 pre-order even if it was in a different line.
Lastly, with the Robot Spirits Eva-13, just be a bit careful with the toes. Mine was okay but I got a junker(though it's by Fedex Japan and it's almost a month...) incoming from a friend who broke the left/right off way too easy according to him(... though he burned it with a soldering iron as well so who knows).
