You know that Alien Queen that they released the other year? People are forcing the fuck out of it, because some parts are next to impossible to insert into the body, yet no one has broken anything. Which says something about the durability of the plastic.
>I've heard about them breaking easilyWhere?
Again, Hiya Toys has been talked about on /toy/ for over a decade now and while people do say that they FEEL fragile, I've never seen anyone say they've broken anything.
Whereas JoyToy has had constant complaints ever since someone brought up their shitty 1/24 or 1/28 line with ugly little spaceships. Tons of shit was breaking every single time a thread was made. When they started releasing 1:18 figures, every single person made complaints about shit breaking, with people asking for replacement parts or spare hands/arms/legs.
Like i said, Joy Toy figures breaking was so common that Joy Toy was including spare joints because they reused to use better plastics. Like giving people water purification tablets for their bottled water, because they didn't want to filter their cholera ridden water source. Yet they were charging almost $30 for these poor QC figures, where the figures themselves aren't any better than Hiya's and actually have/had worse paint.
Again, it's only in the past year where they decided to use NOT-SHIT plastics, which allowed them to end the practice of including extra joints. And they increased their price, while other companies didn't.
So to say that the Warhammer figures are "fair price", that's a load of shit, because other companies release figures for way less of equal or better quality. The only reason their shit is so costly is because fuck you they just are. If Joy Toy made the Alien Queen, it would undoubtedly cost $120.
