Is the Snake Eyes: Alpha Commando a good figure to make a lazy custom of Hunk from RE or some sort of faceless soldier if I add a helmet to the commando head? I'm new the 1/12 scale and I'd like recommendations for figures that fit the "modern warfare" aesthetics.

I get that GIJoe is not as easily marketable as Disney's latest movie, but can't Hasbro really make some legit Classified vehicle for under 100 bucks? Jazwares also put some badass mech for their 1/18 Halo line for a nice price. It doesn't have to be incredibly high-end, and if the vehicle is cool enough they could sell it without driver to save costs too.

Also I'm assuming most across the country didn't attend in general. There is next to no new media doing well in the market and the animated Joe movie was panned badly back then and to my knowledge never warm up to the fans like the Transformers film did. iirc The Joe movie wasn't even in theaters back in the day due to how bad Transformers so it's just this strange market stunt that was doomed to fail. On one hand, if it gets backed in a single day then that's fantastic and tells Hasbro that vehicles for this line are in demand and can be supported. >>9881022 The short of it is that people are generally pissed that items that should cost $150 in stores are instead marked up to $300 as a Kickstarter, because Hasbro has proved this is a viable model for them and they can skip the hassle of convincing Walmart to carry items like this.
In addition, the tiers are supposed to be extra stuff to justify the price a bit. But for most HasLabs, it’s usually stuff that should have been included in the first place. I think the Sentinel was largely the best, in that even if zero tiers had been unlocked, we still would’ve gotten a complete toy. Vs. Rancor and Galactus , where an arguably crucial figure (Rancor keeper and silver surfer, respectively) are locked behind tiers.
HISS Tank always included the driver thankfully, but stuff like tread covers and a cockpit hatch being tier unlocks feels a little stingy. But it is a vehicle so personally I’m not sure what else could have been the tiers. I guess more figures, but I have mixed feelings on that, since locking a figure people want behind a $300 Kickstarter is pretty lame. HasLabs as a whole are largely motivated by FOMO, another reason not to like them in general.

Again Destro is a big deal, easily seen as the Trinity of the names people think of with Cobra, but I don't think he was first picked because he was the highest demand, otherwise he would have been rebundled in more revision waves like they did with Cobra Commader (which imo was way to many, people like the guy, but not four wave revisions and two repaints worth) rather than just the two (the OG wave and then the refresher wave that put the ring on his head). There is also the fact the PD Destro is still reasonable to get two years later while Baby Blue CC from last year still sells out instantly and is always nearing or over $100 even after a 4th(5th?) re-release on pulse.
I get this is nitpicking but Hasbro is so seedy with stuff I feel like it should always be pointed out when they pull this kind of crap.
