>>9891799Regarding Bruticus, if you really wanted to avoid the MP combiner can of worms, you should have waited. A company called XYZ Model is making a legends-scale Bruticus that is basically just a down-scale of MMCs Assaultus, complete with all-built-in gimick. How it turns out though, only time will tell. Aside from that, Zeta toys just finished releasing a legends version of their Aerialbots, so they're likely to do the same to their Bruticus soon too. Other than that, NewAge and Magic Square, haven't shown their hands yet so expect a huge dick waving contest between those two when one of them eventually makes the first move. Lastly, if you don't mind the non-toon appearance, Iron Factory's (and the Pocket Toys Ko) of Bruticus is pretty good, and looks really great with the toyhax decals.
That all said, you still made a solid purchase with Assaultus. He's not flawless, I've heard that some of the individual bots are slightly compromised because of the all-built-in, but other than that though he a cool dood. Be sure to take some pics and show him off when you can.
