I saw that, but if the sculpts can't be swapped to either side without looking awkward, it'd limit building. Even if they're perfectly swappable, you'd have to buy two if you wanted to make anything symmetrical unless you only used this guy's parts for torsos and weapons.

This is a fucking amazing toy as-is, and the fact that it's expandable/buildable make it even better. It's pretty exciting that these proportions would still work really well if you extended the limbs to make it into a taller action figure. I am also psyched for that right bicep piece, it's going to visually add a lot to mech builds. Leg hydraulics and shit. It could also make a cool hunching spine/ab piece. I also like that you have the option of a cleaner cyborg body, or one that's partially melting.

11/10, absolutely amazing work. Even the alt heads are fucking sick. I think I'm going to need to buy every single colorways of this mold.

Wow, there are some parts here from the lizard-mutant, and some new ones. Makes me wonder exactly how the molds break down, especially since the robot head doesn't come with the mutant and it has uneven numbers of things, like the robotic piston piece.

The robot "head" is the same pies as the claw forearm and the big cannon but with tampos
From the mechanicals it's clear that

Yeah, I'm guessing that the torso with the teeth and brain is the reverse of the robot torso.

Also, I imagine that since we got two half-and-half figures and a full robot figure, we'll probably end up getting a full mutant in this wave, too. I think a version of the original Biomass Monster was hinted for this wave as well.

So, what does everyone think the price is gonna be? I'm guessing it's in the $25-30 range for the fully painted ones.

They're preassembled figures that can be taken completely apart and rearranged, and include additional parts for building. Most stores outside of Onell Design mostly only release figures, but some occasionally offer separate parts packs for purchase that can be added to a figure.

I don't understand why blanks are still run in such low numbers by pretty much everyone. They sell out in seconds every single time and every single time there are angry people who wanted some. Why not just make more? It would print money, customers would be happy, it's a win-win, no? If it were possible I would have bought like a half dozen of each color in blank, in addition to the painted ones.

On the real, I hope Matt realizes how much people look up to and are inspired by him. I'm a latefag, so the first time I actually heard/saw Matt was on one of the toypizza streams debuting Virkil, and he was just such an insanely cool prescence. The dude has the fucking kind of captivating star power rockstars have, except in dinstinct toy-creator form. And that's on top of him just being a really kind and smart dude to listen to.

He should also sell more glyos, even if the current pace /is/ easier on my wallet.

All I expressed to him was that he was counterproductively selling his items for dirt cheap prices than what they regularly sell for on eBay & that he needed to price whatever next items he listed appropriately so he could raise as much money as possible to aid his family members. That's it. He also never posted anything beforehand about the reason for those auctions being a fundraiser until after the blue Virkil's low sale price was discussed on the discord.

I didn't have a problem with him selling test shots. Another member chimed in & said test shots apparently were not to be sold publicly & were to be sold back to Jesse. That was news to me, as I remember Jesse saying a while back on an episode of his podcast that selling his figures was allowed & that he had people who personally thanked him as they had once found themselves in a tough financial spot & they got out of it by selling off their ToyPizza figure collections. Jesse doesn't care what you do with his figures or how you sell them once they are out of his hands. You bought them, they're yours to do with what you want.

And another thing. I didn't see any of you promoting the fundraiser every day online like I did to help the guy out. I also bid on & won a listing of his to contribute to his family's fundraiser. None of you chipped in to help him in his time of need. And if he starts that fundraiser up again then I'll promote it again for him, no question. May I have upset him back when we were discussing his item's low sale prices? Yeah, probably. Was it my intent? No. I wanted to help him maximize the amount of money he raised for his family's fundraiser. And so instead of being part of the problem, I became part of the solution. I also wrote him an apology & I took the time & energy out of my month to rectify the situation, promoting his sales daily & bidding on them. So next time you wanna give me crap for that, let it be known I tried to turn it around into something helpful for the man.

This is one of the best Glyos figures of all time, easily. This is the perfect figure to intro someone to Glyos because it is a phenomenal standalone action figure AND builder. You know every time you looked at a solid limb on a Glyos figure and wished it were made of two or three separate parts instead? This is that fucking figure. The limb breakdown is so impressive, you can get this guy in all kinds of very nuanced poses. And his neck is cut at an interesting angle which gives you a lot more possibilites than a straight up and down one. Hell, the way his robot leg is constructed actually sorta gives him an ankle rocker, which is absurdly cool. Not to mention the cool "hidden" teeth-and-brains sculpt on his back, adding a nice little bit of body horror. This is just a 10/10 on every level. If you missed out this drop, I have nothing but pity, and you should definitely make it a point to be there next drop. Bio Masters wins Glyo of the Year 2022 and it's only June.

I used Brasso before to remove decals from Lego pieces. But that's ABS plastic, not PVC and the decals could be applied by different processes too so who knows. But maybe something to try. It works by being a micro-abrasive, not a solvent. So kind of like a fine sandpaper. Whatever you use you could try on an extra switchpin first to make sure it doesn't melt. Also maybe there will be a green blank.

I'd say try Robo Force and Kabuto Mushi. Since the mold you already have is sorta a biomechanical type, these lines will supplement your robot and organic parts.

From what I've seen it's just a kickass new mold that plays really well with others.

I'm still waiting on my order, but I plan on mixing the black parts from the leech with my black AV robot

You might like roboforce but unfortunately they're all secondhand now as the license got sold to someone else who isn't making glyos compatible figures with them anymore

Hey! Glad to have you here. I remember thinking the night these dropped that I wondered if nickelodeon anon was out there watching or buying. I'm the anon whose build you said you copied a bit and it's probably my single favorite glyos figure.

Has a list and links of all currently available figures. I know you're big on specific colors but almost any of the primary onell design figures (which are all sold out right now), Kabuto mushi, AV robot, the little amongus guys from cappyspace are all great picks. Love warlords, battle tribes, Knights of the Slice, etc but these figures are a little more similar to mighty maniax and less "build any crazy odd thing"

oh nice builds! and thanks for the inspiration, i love zbots so your build immediately appealed to me. I didn't have all the pieces you did but I wanted to retain the proportions

thanks for that link. it seems like a lot of drops get pretty wild with the colors so I'm sure some of them will appeal to me eventually

i see what you mean about the building. a lot of molds seem to have pieces that are whole limbs. the downsides to that are obvious, but I can also see how that would be useful when paired with these molds, because you can use the big pieces to block out a shape/figure and use the more broken up ones to communicate character and add extra articulation. after building these two guys I have a ton of leftover small pieces, for example
